This is a concept image I had in my mind for a while. I wanted to create a scenario somewhere in the mid 1900's, where a robot finds itself in a precarious situation while trying to do the right thing. I love the simplistic early designs of the robot ideal and wanted to try to capture it here.

Painted in photoshop - the robot was worked out with basic geometric cylinders in Maya.
